Acceptance of terms
By using this website or applying for a FASTag through DNT Communication, you agree to these terms and conditions along with the terms of the issuing bank whose tag is assigned to your vehicle.
Our role
DNT Communication acts as a service provider and dealer that facilitates FASTag issuance, fitment, activation and recharge. The tag itself is issued and operated by the partner bank, and the bank's rules govern the tag wallet, toll deduction and dispute resolution.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete vehicle and identity details and genuine documents. You are responsible for using the tag on the vehicle it was issued for, keeping sufficient balance in the tag account and informing us if the vehicle is sold, scrapped or the tag is damaged or lost.
Fees and charges
Tag issuance fees, security deposit and minimum balance are decided by the issuing bank and are communicated before the application is submitted. Service charges for fitment or support, where applicable, are informed in advance.
Toll deduction
Toll charges are deducted automatically at the toll plaza as per rates notified by the toll authority. DNT Communication is not responsible for incorrect deductions, plaza equipment failure or delays in refund by the bank or toll operator, but will assist you in raising the complaint.
Refunds and cancellation
Once a FASTag is issued and activated, the issuance fee is non-refundable. Any refund of security deposit or wallet balance is processed by the issuing bank as per its closure process. Requests for cancellation before issuance may be considered subject to the bank's rules.
Misuse
Using a tag on a vehicle other than the registered one, tampering with a tag, or submitting false documents may lead to the tag being blacklisted by the bank and to penalties from the authorities. We may refuse or discontinue service in such cases.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DNT Communication's liability for any claim relating to its services is limited to the service charge paid to us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as travel delays.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at our place of business.
